Heritage Institute Fellowships

Heritage Institute is a faith-based 501 non-profit organization which exists to make an impact on the communities of Travelers Rest, Greer, and Anderson by making mental health services affordable to those living in the upstate. We also will train graduate students by contracting with private practitioners who are licensed by the state as supervisors and approved by their respective professional organizations as supervisors. Heritage Institute will also equip licensed professionals with the latest theories, models, techniques, and research by offering continuing education courses monthly. Lastly, Heritage Institute will offer two-year term Fellowship positions for those who have completed their academic graduate work and who are seeking pro-visionary license by the state.

Fellows will apply for two-year terms at the conclusion of their internships. A committee of five; two Supervisors, two from the board, and one Community Partner will review applications for Fellows. Heritage Institute will employ a minimum of two and a maximum of five Fellows. Fellows will receive a stipend of $18000 annually and 70 percent of income from client fees. Fellows will have specific tasks that promote Heritage Institute, Mental Health Professions, as well as Community Well-being.

Therapy rooms will be available at Heritage Family Center in Travelers Rest, Greer Counseling Associates in Greer, and Main Street Family Therapy in Anderson.
