Perhaps you’re newly diagnosed with a medical condition that’s taken a sudden toll on your life. Maybe you’re still waiting for answers, and your friends and loved ones are struggling to understand what’s happening along with you. Or, perhaps you’re struggling with other life challenges, and you’re having a hard time dealing with panic, anxiety, depression, and other difficulties. I’m here to help.

Regardless of where you are on your journey in dealing with life’s challenges, supportive counseling may be able to help you regain the sense of control and emotional wellness that you long for.

A collaborative approach uniquely designed to address the emotional impact of your symptoms can help restore a sense of peace, comfort, and happiness, and help you get back to living a fulfilling life that doesn’t revolve around your symptoms and challenges. Together, we’ll develop a plan that’s specific to your needs, and we’ll address your wellness from a whole-body perspective using researched based approaches. I’ll help you learn strategies to manage your symptoms and challenges as you work toward emotional and physical wellness.

A little about me…I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 10 years of counseling experience in various capacities. I have training in several therapy approaches backed by research, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness-based approaches. I also enjoy incorporating somatic awareness in the counseling process, as I believe God designed our bodies to be the ultimate communication tool in helping us understand and express our needs in the healing process. I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including community mental health centers, outpatient private practice, and non-profits, and I have served ages 4-65 during my years as a therapist. Currently, I work primarily with adults over 18 who may be experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, or other challenges related to chronic health challenges, chronic pain, and medical and other types of trauma. I also consider it a joy and privilege to partner with community first responders who may be experiencing difficulties related to the challenges they face in the line of duty every day. I love my work and consider it a privilege to walk with people on their journey to wellness.
