Meredith Lutz, MS, LPC

Meredith is a licensed professional counselor with a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology. She enjoys working with a variety of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has experience in helping those with mood disorders, anxiety, decreased self-esteem, addictive behaviors, family discord, grief, behavioral concerns, and trauma. Meredith's specific areas of expertise include play therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and behavioral concerns in children and teens. She has completed extensive treatment work with juveniles struggling with depression, oppositional defiance, sexual aggression or unhealthy boundaries, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorders. Meredith prefers a client-centered therapeutic approach while at times incorporating concepts from cognitive-behavioral therapy, reality therapy, and rational emotive therapy. She values the client/therapist relationship and strives to provide a safe, therapeutic environment free of judgment and saturated with unconditional positive regard. Meredith believes in empowering her clients and assisting them in finding ultimate success and peace within themselves
