Rhonda Loftis

MED., LPC

Rhonda Loftis is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Gardner-Webb University (1997) and a Masters of Education degree, with an emphasis in Community Agency Counseling, from Clemson University (2001). She has several years of professional counseling experience working in a variety of settings. Rhonda works with women (ages 18 and older) and couples (dating, engaged, and married), providing counseling services as a Christian, faith based practitioner. She utilizes an integration of counseling methods with Biblical principles as she aims to help her clients address and positively respond to problems resulting from life transitions, relationship discord, divorce, loss/grief, and other life stressors that may result in an individual experiencing depression and/or anxiety. She feels the ultimate goal of therapy is to help her clients better understand themselves and others, experience hope, healing and personal growth while moving through difficulties, develop a healthy identity and life perspective, develop and strengthen healthy relationships and healing/restoration of broken ones when possible. As one who has also experienced the brokenness of life, she believes that true hope is found through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and understanding who we are and what we have in relationship with Him. She counts it an honor as a counselor to walk alongside her clients through their unique journeys to hope and healing (Proverbs 19:20-21, Lamentations 3:22-23). Rhonda is married with 4 children, a son-n-law and four grandkids. Her faith, family, faith community, outdoors, coffee, chocolate, exercise and a good book are the things that keep her rolling with life and resting in God’s grace.
